Features

  1. The high-pressure LNG function involves pressurizing the low-pressure LNG to a maximum pressure of 25 MPa and includes a safe release function.
  2. The main functions are controlled by automation, reducing the impact of human operation and increasing operational safety.
  3. The piston pump is installed separately from the main skid. On one hand, the piston pump is directly connected to the foundation to reduce its vibration, and on the other hand, it avoids the impact of piston pump vibration on the parts of the main skid body.
  4. Considering the actual working conditions of the process operation, the main inlet of the piston pump adopts Flers material cold insulation or vacuum cold insulation to prevent LNG gasification from affecting the piston pump inlet.
  5. The vacuum pipeline structure of the piston pump is equipped with an inlet buffer and a gas-liquid separation device. This ensures the liquid intake of the piston pump on one hand and reduces the impact of LNG gasification on the piston pump on the other hand.
  6. The pump return gas pipeline is designed with an upward turning and an inclination angle structure, facilitating the pump's gas return.
  7. The size of the skid body is small, reducing the site footprint.

FAQs

Q: What are the advantages of CNG?

A: Commonly referred to as the green fuel because of its lead and sulphur free character, CNG reduces harmful emissions. Being non-corrosive, it enhances the longevity of spark plugs. Due to the absence of any lead or benzene content in CNG, the lead fouling of spark plugs, and lead or benzene pollution are eliminated.

Q: How does a CNG station work?

A: Fast-fill stations receive fuel from a local utility line at a low pressure and then use a compressor on site to compress the gas to a high pressure. Once compressed, the CNG moves to a series of storage vessels so the fuel is available for a quick fill-up.

Q: What is the main problem with CNG?

A: CNG cars have reduced performance compared to petrol-powered cars. This is because CNG has a lower energy density than petrol, which means that CNG cars have less power and acceleration. Additionally, CNG fuel tanks are bulkier and heavier and reduce the overall performance of the vehicle.

Q: Is CNG a good or bad gas?

A: CNG cars are usually considered safer than petrol cars. This is because CNG has less flammability and higher auto-ignition temperature. In case of a leak, CNG does not spread like petrol but disperses instantly. This reduces the risk of explosion or fire.
